\(AB \Rightarrow S = 6t_1 = 24t \Rightarrow t_1 = 4 t\)

speed = \(\frac{\text{dist.}}{\text{time}}\)

\(= \frac{48t}{2t + t_1}\)

\(= \frac{48 t}{2t + 4t}\)

\(= \frac {48t}{6t}\)

\(= 8 m/s\)
