The distance f(t) in kilometre moved by a car travelling in a straight line in t minute is given by f(t) = 2t + 1

  1. Find the speed of the car at the end of 5 minute.
  2. Draw and observe the speed function when distance is given by f(t)
  3. What happen to the speed function if the distance travelled by the car is given by f1(t) = at2 + bt + c. Find it by using first principles.
  4. Observe the speed function. Is it constant now?
