Activity: Calculation of Concentrations

Required materials: Two borosil glass, Spoon, table sugar, water, measuring cylinder.


Activity: 


Step 1: Take a borosil glass and add 100 mL water to it using a measuring cylinder. Weigh 15 gm of sugar and add to the water. Mix with a spoon. Mark it as solution A.


Step 2: Now, take 50 mL of solution A in another beaker and add 100 mL water to the solution A. Mix well with the help of a spoon. Mark it as solution B.

Calculation: Calculate the concentration of both solution A & B in terms of molarity. Also check the ratio of molarity of two solutions.
