Correct option is (b) Na2S and NaCN are decomposed by conc. HNO3

During fusion with sodium, NaCN, Na2S and NaX are formed depending upon the nature of the element in the compound. The former two are destroyed by conc. HNO3 for getting good results for testing the presence of halogens.
