About 5 L hydrogen gas is filled in a balloon at 22°C. If temperature increases upto 25°C, then what will be the volume of balloon?

Given, V1 = 5L, V2 =? 

22 + 273 = 295 K; 

T2 = 25 + 273 = 298 K.

 According to Charles' law, 

\(\frac{V_1}{T_1} = \frac{V_2}{t_2}\)

\(\frac{5 \ L}{295\ K} = \frac{V_2}{298\ K}\)

\(V_2 = \frac{5\ L\times 298\ K}{295\ K}\)

\( = 5.051\ L\)
