Three thermochemical reactions are given below:

1. C(graphite) + O2(g) → CO2(g); Δ,H° = X kJ mol-1

2. C(graphite) + 1/2O2(g) → CO2(g) ΔH = Y KJ mol-1

3. CO(g) + 1/2 O2(g) → CO2(g) ΔH = Z KJ mol-1

What will be correct relation on the basis of these equations?

(a) Z = X + Y

(b) X = Y + Z

(c) Y = 2Z - X

(d) X = Y = Z
