If you could stand beside a well planned display that was loaded with attractively priced seasonal merchandise and ask each shopper to buy, you would sell many of the items every day. You cannot do this, but a good point of sale sign can. It may not audibly ask for the purchase, but if done well it will stimulate extra purchases.
An effective point of sale will:
- Attract the shopper's attention.
- Identify the item or service offered.
- Describe what the item will do for the shopper.
- Give the price and any savings.
