The earth takes 24 hours to complete 1 rotation or 360° of longitudes. This means that the earth covers 15° of longitudes every (1)hour. (1 hour= 60minutes, divided by 15°/hour = 4 minutes per longitude). 1° of longitude takes 4 minutes.
