Correct option is (4) 72°F

We know that per °C change is equivalent to 1.8° change in °F.

\(40^\circ \times 1.8^\circ = 72^\circ\)

\(\therefore\) 40° change on celsius scale will correspond to 72° change on the Fahrenheit scale.
