JEE Main 2025 Syllabus and Pattern

JEE Main 2025 Important Dates and Details

  • Exam Schedule:

    • The JEE Main 2025 Session 1 exam will take place from January 22 to 31, 2025.
    • Admit Card Release DateJanuary 20, 2025.
    • JEE Main Exam City Slip: The city slip will be issued in the 2nd week of January 2025.
  • Application and Correction Timeline:

    • Application Form for Session 1: The registration for JEE Main 2025 session 1 was open from October 28 to November 22, 2024.
    • Correction Window: The correction facility was available from November 26 to 27, 2024.

JEE Main 2025 Exam Structure

The exam will consist of two papers:

  • Paper 1: For admission to BE/BTech courses.
    • It will include questions based on Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics from Class 11 and 12.
  • Paper 2: For admission to BArch and BPlanning courses.
    • Paper 2A: For BArch, covering MathematicsAptitude Test, and Drawing.
    • Paper 2B: For BPlanning, including MathematicsAptitude Test, and Planning-based questions.

Note:

  • The exam will be computer-based except for the Drawing section of Paper 2, which will be pen-and-paper-based.

Preparation Tips:

  • Candidates are advised to check the JEE Main 2025 Syllabus PDF, the exam pattern, and previous year papers for better preparation.

Changes in JEE Main 2025 Exam Pattern

  • Section B will now have 5 questions per subject, and candidates must answer all 5 questions with no option to choose.
