Phosphorus belongs to \(15^{\text {th }}\)group and forms \(\mathrm{d} \pi-\mathrm{d} \pi\) bond with transition metal and \(\mathrm{PH}_{3}\) is strongest base among the other group members excepet \(\mathrm{NH}_{3}\).
