\( \triangle A B C \) is right-angled at \( A . A D \) is perpendicular to \( B C, A B=5 cm, B C=13 cm \) and \( A C=12 cm \). Find the area of \( \triangle A B C \). Also, find the length of \( A D \).

In right angles triangle BAC, AB =5cm and AC=12cm

Area of triangle=1/2×base×height =1/2×AB×AC
