Best answer

Correct option is : (B) hypermetropia

Given,

power, P = +2 D,

So, focal length, \(f= \frac{1}{P}\)

\(f = \frac{100}{2} =50\ cm\)

Therefore, the focal length is positive which is for a convex lens and a convex lens is used for the correction of hypermetropia. So, the person is suffering from hypermetropia.
