Best answer

Correct option is: (C) - 8

\(2 x^2-4 x+3=0\)

Comparing equation with \(a x^2+b x+c=0\)

a = 2, b = -4, c = 3

We know that

\(D =b^2-4 a c \)

\(=(-4)^2-4 \times 2 \times 3 \)

\(=16-24 \)

= -8
