\(\mu ,\) spin angular momentum = \(\sqrt{(n)n+2}.\) B.M. Electronic configuration of \(Cr^{3+} = [Ar]\ 3d^3\)

Number of unpaired electrons = 3

\(\mu = \sqrt{3\times 5} = \sqrt{15} = 3.87\ B.M.\)
