What should be the signs (positive/negative) for \(E^\circ _{cell}\)  and \(\Delta G ^\circ\) for a spontaneous redox reaction occurring under standard conditions?

For spontaneous redox reaction, \(\Delta G^ \circ\) is negative.

\(\Delta G ^ \circ = - nFE^\circ _{cell}\) 

\(\therefore \ E^\circ_{cell}\) for the spontaneous redox reaction is positive.
