Bomb calorimeter has heat capacity 5 kJ/K. Combustion of octane takes place in presence of excess \(O_{2}\) .Temperature rises by \(5^\circ C\). Find \(\Delta H_{\text{combustion}}\) in kJ. (Nearest Integer).

Answer is: 25

\(C = 5 \ kJ/K\)

\(\Delta H = nC \Delta T\)

\(= 1 \times 5 \times 5\)

\(= 5 \times 5\)

\(= 25\)
