'X' is the number of acidic oxides among \(VO_2 , V_2O_3, V_2O_5 \ \text{and } Mn_2O_7\) . The primary valency of cobalt in \([Co(H_2NCH_2CH_2NH_2)_3]_2 \ \ (SO_4)_3\) is Y.

Correct option is: (1) 5

Among \(VO_2, V_2O_3 , V_2O_5, CrO_3 \ \text{and } Mn_2O7\), only \(CrO_3 \ \& \ Mn_2O_7\) is acidic \(X = 2\)

Primary valency of cobalt in \([Co(H_2NCH_2CH_2NH_2)_3]_2 \ \ (SO_4)\) is 3 as cobalt have +3 charge .

\(Y = 3\)

\(X + Y =5\)
