Solve d2y/dx2 + y = cosecx by  using method of variation of parameters.

Given: (D2 +1)y = cosecx

The auxiliary equation is (m2 + 1) = 0

m = ±i

∴ C. F. = c1 cosx + c2 sinx 

= c1f1 + c2f2
