Best answer

Given wavelength of light = 5000 A, = 5 x 10-7 m,

Diameter of the objective = 5.08 m.

Limit of resolution: Δθ = 1.22λ/2a

= (1.22 x 5 x 10-7m / 5.08) = 1.2 x 10-7 radians.
