A mercury pallet is trapped in a tube as shown in figure. The tube is slowly heated to expel all mercury inside it (Isothermal condition). Calculate the heat given to the tube in J. (ρHg = 13.6 gm/cc, Atmospheric pressure = 105 Pa, cross–section area of tube = 2 cm2)
