The line which intersects each of the two lines L1 : 2x + y – 1 = 0 = 3x – 2y + z, L2 : 3x – y - z + 1 = 0 = 4x + y + 5z – 3 and is parallel to the line x/1 = y/2 = z/-1.

(A) has direction ratio (1, 2, –1)

(B) has equation 8x – 3y + 2z – 1 = 0 = 5x + 3y + 11z – 7

(C) having angle with L2 equal to cos–1(√3/7)

Correct option: (A) (B) (D)

Explanation:

(A) DR's of line is 1, 2, –1

(D) Plane x + 2y – z = 7/3 is perpendicular to the line there for DR's of Normal to the plane and line are parallel.
