Block M slides down on friction less incline as shown. Find the minimum friction coefficient so that ‘m’ does not slide with respect to ‘M’.

Since, m does not slide on the block M. So, both block move together.

From force diagram of combined mass(m + M),

(M + m)g sin 37º = (m + M)a

∴ a0 = 10 x 3/5 = 6m/s2 along inclined surface.
