(i) Na2CO3 + Δ → No change (stable to heat) ; CaCO3 + Δ →CaO + CO

(ii) MgCl2.6H2O + Δ → MgO + 2HCl + 5H2O ; CaCl2.6H2O + Δ → CaCl2 + 6H2

(iii) Ca(NO3)2 + Δ → CaO + 2NO2 + 1/2O2 ; NaNO3 + Δ →  NaNO2 + 1/2O2
