Best answer

(i) [Co(NH3)5Cll]Cl2: Pentaamminechlorido cobalt (III) chloride

Co(III): [Ar] 3d6 4so —d2sp3 hybridisation leads to octahedral shape.

Magnetic behaviour: Diamagnetic.

(ii) K2[Ni(CN)4]: Potassium tetracyano nickelate (II)

Ni(II): [Ar] 3d8 4s° —dsp2 hybridisation leads to square planar shape.

Magnetic behaviour: Diamagnetic.
