Find the particular solution of the differential equation

dy/dx+ycot x =4x cosecx,(x≠0) given that y=0 when x=π/2.

The equation of line passing through the point (3, - 4, -5) and (2, -3, 1) is

Let the line (i) crosses the plane 2x + y + z = 7 ...(ii) at point P (α, β, γ)
P lies on line (i), therefore (α, β, γ) satisfy equation (i)

Hence the co-ordinate of required point P is (-2 + 3, 2 - 4, 6 × 2 -5) i.e., (1, -2, 7)
