How is marginal placentation different from parietal placentation? Give an example of each.

Marginal placentation Parietal placentation
It is found in the monocarpellary, unilocular ovary. It is found in syncarpous ovaries.
Placentae are found along the ventral suture, formed by the fusion of margins of a carpel.
eg: pea, bean
carpels are fused laterally and the placentae develop on the ovary wan as many as numbers of carpels,
eg: cucurbits, mustard.
