Fe2+ ion has electric configuration (Ar)4S03d6 it has four paired electrons 

∴ n = 4 

spin only magnetic moment μ = \(\sqrt{n(n+2)}BM\)

\(\sqrt{4(4+2)}BM\) 

\(\sqrt{24}BM\) 

= 4.9BM
