So, net heat produced = H_a + H_b + H_c + H_d

R = 4.5mΩ = 4.5 ×10^–3Ω

Ha = (6.7 ×10^–2)² × 4.5 × 10^–3 × 5

H_b = H_d = 0 [since emf is induced for 5sec]

H_c = (6.7 ×10^–2)² × 4.5 × 10^–3 × 5

So Total heat = H_a + H_c

= 2 × (6.7 ×10^–2)² × 4.5 × 10^–3 × 5 = 2 × 10^–4J.
