Derry suffers from inferiority complex due to his burnt face. Therefore, he avoids the company. But Mr Lamb motivates him to live a normal life as all others do. By his own example, he encourages him to meet people, and enjoy their company. I think this brief association with Mr Lamb will make Derry live a normal life in the future. He will come out of his seclusion. He will come out of his inferiority complex. He will mingle with people without any hesitation. Now, he will not notice the negative talks others do about him. Now, his future life will be the life of a self-confident boy. Mr Lamb motivates him in such impressive ways that Derry has made up his mind to return to the mainstream of normal social life. He will now very well mingle with other people positively.
डैरी अपने जले हुए चेहरे के कारण हीन भावना से ग्रस्त है। इसलिए वह लोगों के साथ से बचता है। लेकिन श्रीमान् लैम्ब उसे अन्य सभी लोगों की भाँति एक सामान्य जीवन जीने को प्रोत्साहित करते हैं। अपना स्वयं का उदाहरण देकर वह उसे लोगों से मिलने और उनके साथ में आनन्दित होने को प्रोत्साहित करते हैं। मुझे लगता है कि श्रीमान् लैम्ब के थोड़े समय के साथ के कारण डैरी भविष्य में एक सामान्य जीवन जीयेगा। वह अपने अकेलेपन से बाहर आ जायेगा। वह अपनी हीन भावना से बाहर आयेगा। वह बिना किसी संकोच के लोगों के साथ घुलेगा–मिलेगा। अब वह उन नकारात्मक बातों पर ध्यान नहीं देगा जो लोग उसके बारे में करते हैं। अब, उसका भावी जीवन आत्मविश्वास से पूर्ण लड़के का जीवन होगा। श्रीमान् लैम्ब डैरी को इतने प्रभावी तरीकों से प्रोत्साहित करते हैं कि उसने सामान्य सामाजिक जीवन की मुख्यधारा में लौटने का निश्चय कर लिया है। अब वह अन्य लोगों के बीच अच्छी तरह घुल-मिल जाएगा।
