The mother loved her son very much. She wanted to represent herself before him as an ideal mother. But here we can see a conflict between the two. The mother considered him as a small boy but the son wanted to be seen as tall. This was the main point of conflict between the mother and the son.
माँ अपने बेटे से बहुत प्रेम करती थी। वह स्वयं को उसके सामने एक आदर्श माँ के रूप में प्रस्तुत करना चाहती थी। किन्तु यहाँ हम दोनों के बीच एक द्वन्द्व देख सकते हैं। माँ उसे एक छोटा बच्चा समझती थी। किन्तु बेटा लम्बा (बड़ा) दिखना चाहता था। माँ व बेटे के बीच द्वन्द्व का मुख्य बिन्दु यही था।
