= log (6 x 10^-2)⁶

= 6 log (2 x 3 x 10_-2)

= 6 log 2 + 6 log 3 – 12 log 10

= 6 x 0.3010 + 6 x 0.4771 – 12 x 1

= 1.8060 + 2.8626 – 12

= 4.6686 – 12 = -7.3314

= – 8 + 0.6686

= \(\bar{8}\) + 0.6686 = \(\bar{8}\) .6686

Hence,

log (0.06)⁶ = \(\bar{8}\) .6686 or -7.3314
