The Appointment of the Governor :
The Governor is appointed by the President.
Qualifications :
According to Article 157 of the constitution, a person should have the following qualification for the post of Governor :
1. He must be a citizen of India.
2. He should have completed 35 years of of age.
3. He should not be a member of Parliament or a house of legislature of any state
4. He does not hold any post of profits.
