When the maids were winnowing and cleaning the grains to be stored, they talked about Sita’s marriage. The mistress of the haveli was also with them. They were talking how pleased Shiv Ram’s family was with the marriage. They went away full of praises for the haveli. Even those realatives who were opposed to the marriage were extremely happy.
जब सेविकायें अनाज को भण्डारण के लिये फटक रही र्थी तथा साफ कर रही थीं तो वे आपस में बात भी कर रही थीं। वे बड़ी प्रसन्नता से सीता के विवाह के बारे में बात कर रही । हवेली की मालकिन भी उनके साथ थी। वे बात कर रही थीं कि शिवराम का परिवार शादी से कितना खुश था। वे सब के सब हवेली की भूरि भूरि प्रशंसा कर रहे थे। वे रिश्तेदार भी जो शादी का विरोध कर रहे थे बहुत ही खुश थे।
