(ii) sin (90° – θ) cos(90° – θ) = tanθ/(1 + tan2θ)

(i) LHS = cos70°/sin20° + cos50°/sin31° – 8sin230°

2 – 2 = 0

= R.H.S.

(ii) LHS = sin (90° – θ) cos(90° – θ)

= R.H.S.
