Answer:  'Thyroxine'

The iodine deficient diet renders thyroid gland unable to synthesise the hormones. Under these conditions, constant stimulation of thyroid gland by the anterior pituitary to secrete hormones leads to enlargement of thyroid gland, the simple goitre or endemic goitre. Glucagon regulates blood sugar level while progesterone and testosterone are female and male reproductive hormones respectively.
