The poet calls “all the world’s a stage” because every person has to perform various roles in his life time. The man takes birth as an infant then after school boy and a lover, justice and at last becomes old and passes away.
कवि इस संसार को एक मंच कहता है। क्योंकि प्रत्येक व्यक्ति को अपने जीवन में अनेक भूमिकाएँ निभानी पड़ती हैं। जैसेकि वह एक बच्चे के रूप में जन्म लेता है फिर स्कूल का लड़का बन जाता है तथा फिर प्रेमी और फिर न्यायाधीश और अन्त में बूढ़ा हो जाता है और मर जाता है।
