The poet advises the man to love himself because the man is God and God lives in the man and all the nature and natural elements exist in man. He existed in this world before the creation of this world and he will remain in it forever. So the man should love himself because his soul is immortal.
कवि मानव को स्वयं से प्रेम करने की सलाह देता है क्योंकि मानव ही भगवान है तथा भगवान मनुष्य में रहता है तथा पूरी प्रकृति एवं प्रकृति के सभी तत्त्व उसमें विद्यमान हैं। वह इस संसार की उत्पत्ति से पहले भी इसमें विद्यमान था तथा हमेशा के लिए इसमें रहेगा। अतः आदमी को स्वयं से प्रेम करना चाहिए अर्थात् उसे . अपनी आत्मा से प्रेम करना चाहिए जो कि अमर है।
