Human beings are adding a large amount of CO2 and CH4 to the atmosphere, by burning of fossil fuels in homes, industries, automobiles, burning, associated with agricultural practices as well as through deforestation. These greenhouse gases, such as CO2, CH4, trap the heat reflected by the earth. This leads to an increase in earth’s temperature. This phenomenon is called global warming, which occurs due to the greenhouse effect.
