Self pollination Cross pollination
Transfer of pollens from the anther to the stigma of the same flower or to the stigma of another flower of the same plant is called self pollination.
Example: Pea, tomato, cucumber.
Transfer of pollens from the anther to the stigma of flower of another plant
of same species is called cross pollination.
Example: Rose, poppy.
