Best answer

Let the width of rectangle be x cm.

So, the length of rectangle = 2x

Perimeter of rectangle = 180 cm

⇒ 2(2x + x) = 180

⇒ 3x = 180/2 = 90

x = 90/3 = 30

Thus, width of rectangle = 30 cm
And length of rectangle = 2 × 30 = 60 cm
