Earthquake and volcanic regions known as the Circum – Pacific Oceanic Belt is found around the Pacific Ocean. More than around 60 per cent of the world’s earthquakes and volcanic eruptions take place in this part. Therefore, it is known as the ‘Fire Ring’.
