kx2 – 2√5x + 4 = 0

Roots are equal

∴ d = 0

d = b2 – 4ac

d = (–2√5)2 – 4 (k) (4)

d = 20 – 16k

Put d = 0

0 = 20 – 16k

16k = 20

k = 20/16

k = 5/4
