Best answer

Given, m = 5 kg

Q = 84,000 J

C = 4200 J Kg-1 °C-1

Let rise in the temperature be ∆T.

Heat energy (Q) = mC∆T

84,000 = 5 x 4200 x ∆T

= 4°C
