16S = 2, 8, 6 = 1s2 , 2s22p2 , 3s23p4 S contains 6 valence electrons, all these 6 electrons are used to form bond with six F atoms. So, it has six bond pairs. No of lone pairs = Valence electrons-bond pairs

= 6 - 6

= 0
