The acids which ionize completely in water to furnish large concentration of `H^(+)` ions are called strong acids. The acids in which less number of molecules ionize in water to furnish `H^(+)` less concentration of ions are called weak acids. Carbonic acid `(H_(2)CO_(3))` is a weak acid.
