Correct answer is (d) 83/8

(cos2 30° cos2 45°+ 4sec2 60°+1/2 cos2 90° - 2 tan2 60°)

= [( √3/2 )2 × ( 1/√2 )2 + 4 × (2)2 + 1/2 × (0)2 − 2 × (√3)2]

= [( 3/4 × 1/2) + 16 − 6] 

= [3/8 + 10] 

= 3 + 80/8 = 83/8
