Best answer

The given equations is 4√3x2 + 5x - 2√3 = 0

Comparing it with ax2 +bx + c = 0.we get

a = 4√3, b = 5 and c = - 2√3

∴ Discriminant, D = b2 - 4ac = 52 - 4 x 4√3 x (-2√3) = 25 + 96 = 121 > 0

So, the given equation has real roots

Now, √D = \(\sqrt{121}\) = 11

Hence √3/4 and - 2√3/3 are the root of the given equation.
