Best answer

2√3 x2 – 5x + √3 = 0

Compare given equation with the general form of quadratic equation, which is ax2 + bx + c = 0

a = 2√3, b = – 5 , c = √3

Find Discriminant:

D = b2 – 4ac

= (– 5)2 – 4 x 2√3 x √3

= 25 – 24

= 1 > 0

Roots of equation are real.

Find roots:

Roots are:

x = √3/2 and x = 1/√3
