Best answer

2x2 + 6√3 x – 60 = 0

Compare given equation with the general form of quadratic equation, which is ax2 + bx + c = 0

a = 2, b = 6√3, c = – 60

Find Discriminant:

D = b2 – 4ac

= (6√3)2 – 4 x 2 x – 60

= 108 + 480

= 588 > 0

Roots of equation are real.
